Floral Week, Day 4
Well, today started with an early morning trip to the ER. My dad thought he broke his toe, so he came over around 6am. I threw on some clothes, a pair of jean shorts and a floral shirt, so at least I stuck with the theme. He's fine. No broken bones. While we were waiting for the doctor, I snapped a selfie. No makeup and hair pulled back, so it's not the most flattering picture, but it's actually not too bad considering I was half asleep.
I also got my hair accessories when I was in Hawaii. They're little foam hibiscus flowers. I have these clips in a few different colors. I thought it would be cute to wear a cluster of them.

Once I finally got back home, I was able to get ready for my luncheon. I'm part of the Fort Rucker Community Spouses' Club, and we have a themed luncheon every month. This was the last one for our calendar year, so the theme was Aloha. A couple years ago Russ took a work trip to Hawaii, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go too. Of course I ended up buying some clothes there. I had no idea when or where I would ever actually wear this dress, but the luncheon turned out to be the perfect opportunity!

My shoes are old. Seriously, old. I have no idea when I got them. If you've never worn Clarks shoes, you should try them. They are the most comfortable brand of shoes I think I've every worn. I have a few different styles. This pair has been well worn and need cleaned up.
That's it for today. If any of you are making comments and I'm not responding, it's because I haven't been able to see them. A friend mentioned that she's been posting comments, but I double checked and can only see one post on my very first entry. Not sure what's going on or how to fix it, but I wanted to let you know that I'm not ignoring you.
