Black & White Week, Day 2
My husband is less than thrilled with his new job as my personal photographer. Of course taking a good picture isn't as easy as point and shoot. I had to figure out decent lighting, tell him how to angle the cell phone, and deleted multiple pictures. He was to the point of just snapping shot after shot without waiting for me to get a decent pose. I finally just started playing around, which ended up being the best photo out of the bunch.
Today I'm wearing a flowy black & white tank top that I got from Sam's Club last year. I paired it with one of my favorite pair of stretchy capri jeans, or as my grandmother would call them...dungarees.
Did you know that the Topsy Tail has made a comeback? This was one of my staple hair styling accessories in the 90's. I like to accessorize the classic tucked ponytail with Lilla Rose flexi clips. I had this pearl one in my drawer, so I thought it would go nicely with the theme.
For my shoes, I'm wearing black Lindsay Phillips SwitchFlops in the LuLu style. I decided to spare you seeing my unpolished toes up close and personal. I love these flip flops because they are so comfortable, and the velcro straps are interchangeable. I'm pretty sure these polka dot straps are the ones that came with the shoes.
Day 2 in the Black & White weekly challenge complete. Now I need to raid my closet and see what I can come up with for tomorrow. I'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions for future fashion themes.
