DisneyBound Week, Day 5
Who says the good guys should get to have all the fun? Yesterday we went under the sea, today we're heading to the Underworld. I have to confess, I've never actually seen Disney's "Hercules" other than a couple of clips, but after going through my closet trying to find something to represent a Disney villain, I came up with a fun idea for Hades. Note to self...watch "Hercules."
These Lularoe leggings were part of their Halloween collection a couple of years ago. I got them to wear to a Walker Stalker convention. The shades of blue are a spot on match for Hades' skin and hair (flaming head?) color. And of course the skulls are a nod to his toga accessory, as well as the unfortunate souls he oversees in the Underworld. I don't have a blue hat, so a gray one will have to do. I think I got this at Rose's a couple years ago.
Speaking of the Walker Stalker convention...while we were there, I saw a vendor selling homemade jewelry. When I saw this necklace and ring, I knew I had to get them. They just matched my leggings so well!
My shoes are the same pair of Clark's I wore back in Purple Week. I think this is the first repeat item I've worn since starting my blog. Just goes to show that I have too many clothes. But hey, that's the reason I'm doing these posts, right? Go through all my stuff and actually wear everything instead of buying new things.
I have absolutely no idea what next week's theme will be. I've got the weekend to think about it, but it'll be hard to top the fun of DisneyBound week. Check back in with me on Monday. See you then!
